HELP LEAKING FUEL PUMP U GOT A SPARE FOR SALE?

Postby cyclone » Sat Apr 01, 2006 8:10 pm

Hello everybody here we go with my first post.i have a 1992 transit swb100 2.5d non turbo my problem is that it has started leaking diesel at the bottom righthand side (looking from the front)feels like a rubber concertina type thing seems to be coming from there.i have read the forums and there is a similar case and the advise was to have the seals done at lucas (its a lucas cav pump) or buy a second hand unit?two questions i live in edinburgh does anyone no who will do a good job at a reasonable price apart from lucas or does anyone have a spare working pump they can sell me please ,thanks in advance for any advise offered.

have you tried ebay? think there was 2 cav's on there last week :?
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
