Hi, got to service mates 2003 Transit Tourneo tomorrow, it's a 1998cc Turbo Diesel (Duratorq???), my local Motorfactors say this engine takes 6.5Litres of oil with a filter change. Sounds a bit too much to me, does anyone know the capacity with a filter change for this engine pls? Thx

Hi, got to service mates 2003 Transit Tourneo tomorrow, it's a 1998cc Turbo Diesel (Duratorq???), my local Motorfactors say this engine takes 6.5Litres of oil with a filter change. Sounds a bit too much to me, does anyone know the capacity with a filter change for this engine pls? Thx-

don't know about the duratorq, but the smiley TD certainly takes 6.5L of oil

Just spoken to the blokes at my local Ford Dealership......the 2000-2006, FWD, 2litre Duratorq engine , with a filter change takes 6.5 LITRES of oil..........
