You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Ha! Sounds like me. I'm a kind of get stuck in type of guy where as my dad likes to do things after careful consideration. He knows his stuff and hardly ever makes a mistake because he thinks about every step. But it takes ages!

Anyway, my gearbox is just the same, horrible 1st-2nd when cold. I had thought the Police were pretty good keeping up the maintanance but after finding some other stuff I'm not so sure. How easy is it drain the gearbox?

steve its so easy mate ,get a tray look at the box and you will see were the oil filler plug is ,its a allen key type , then below that is the drain! just let it out mate! :lol: these gearboxes are not very good most are notchy unless you are lucky! :?
