Veg Oil Conversions

Anyone else on here that has done, or thinking of doing a 2 tank veg oil conversion?

If there are others who are thinking - maybe we could get a bulk buy on some of the parts?

i used to run my merc 190 on it no proplem and my shogun 2.5 tdi with a in line heater 90% oil no proplems starting etc hope it helps

thought about it and erm .... even stuck a few bottles of veg oil in with the diesel just to see BUT DONT TELL ANYONE COS ITS ILLEGAL . if you ask me it runs a bit better and its better for the enviroment but money talks and the government want 27p a litre or summit like that for duty which if you buy the oil then put duty on takes it pretty much upto the price of diesel ..... still , be better for the enviroment . its definatley something im gonna do more reading on when i get time .
p.s. if anyones thinking noone would know you mixed it think again mine smelt like a bbq

Actually using veg oil is not illegal. Not telling customs and excise is!

i see some were think it was on trhat or onthere forum with Di diesel engines the cooking oil can get in to the engine oil not sure tho coz then surly diesel would as well????
