Central Locking wiring

Hi chaps. First post, So good to find a forum.....

I'm changing my 2001 swb 260 into a crew cab (nearly done - just need)windows) and i want to alter the central locking so that the side door also unlocks with the front doors.
Experience tells me i just need to attach the side door soleniod wires in tandem with the front ones. But does antone know of an easy way - did ford clerely think of this and put a handy multiplug somewhere?
If not, where abouts is the receiver/relay/loom etc?
The thinking behind this is about security and safety - with my kids in the back and only one exit, I want to lock/unlock the door from the front and with one button only.

I don't know if there's any wiring already there for this but you're right in saying you'll need to disconnect it from the load space circuit and connect it to the cab circuit - the CDL module if you need it is on the bulkhead behind the glovebox (three multiplugs going to it, blue, green and I think the third one is black)

is the Mk 5 CDL in the same position? ie behind the glovebox?

The CDL unit is indeed behind the glove box but looks a right cow to get at. The two multiplugs (Green/Blue) have a whole bunch of wires coming out, and disappear into the main loom.
Without having a proper wiring legend, I'll postpone this job for now - it's possibly not as straightforward as I thought.
As a temporary measure I've taken the locking knob off the inside of the side door to stop the kids from locking themselves in!
