hi all

new here just in process of getting first transit

its gonna be a swb150 ex rac :wink:

any one know of any problems of running bio fuel ? :?:

also known as biodiesel its made from new or used veg oil :wink:

any info would help

i must admit these were before i was running a diesel! now i am i might give it a go myself!!! :lol:

mate the ex rac will probably be turbo so will have the lucass epic system which can be a pain in this a** so be careful :)
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Biodiesel bought at the pumps is no different to regular diesel, it's just the raw materials that are different. If you make it yourself (a long and fiddly process by all accounts, and not legal if you don't notify Customs and Excise) the result should be more or less the same. If you mean running on Straight Veg Oil, otherwise known as SVO, most people mix it up to 50-50 with diesel with no ill effects. Older engines take to SVO better than fuel managed new ones though.
