Yeah I think they probably went a little over the top with mine, but if it were flush it would need seam sealer etc and they would rust badly like the rest of the panels do.

Damn straight Gunslinger, especially those reinforcing plates on the front chassis members! Inexcusable I tell thee!!! :roll:

Anyway, its on and fits perfectly! I had to adapt the vertical support because of my custom cross member, but its all good. I'll post pictures when i've taken them.
