I do have faith but in a real good welder, which isn't me and the logical areas for this leak is to look where I and others have suggested, it is an assumption but since this new Transit owner appears to be going in cirlces I doubt they will have the skills to weld something as major as the A pillar, welding a floor panel or a plate on the chassis etc is ok if there is some heat deformation but not on such a critical area, a distorted A pillar will mean even more leaks down the line. As already noted elsewhere the screen removal to refit is not a job for the faint hearted as it can often mean a new screen is needed, with a incorrect aligned A pillar you think this is going to go well?
