Fitting rear seat belts

Postby Jazwood » Sun May 29, 2005 7:53 pm

Hi,
prob one of the more basic questions.
Can you fix seat belt anchors anywhere on the ribs ( :? those vertical support things every metre or so along the sides. :? )
And can anyone offer any suggestions for fitting them in a mk1 camper with side facing rear seats. e.g. are there any pre drilled hole I aint aware of, or anything :)

I'll see some of you at this run in july eh.

Not to my knowlidge - i think the minibus's had extra seat mountings in but no seatbelts!

I'd just drill a hole and put a very large washer either side (50mm flatbar mabe 100m long hole in the middle should do it!) preferably welded to the floor too!!

Aslo make sure when your drilling the hole you dond drill into a chassis rail or too close to one that you cant get the washer on!!!
