can anyone tell me what turbo was used when someone did a conversion to a standard 2.5di it was mentioned that it was rover! just wondered what model and what manifold was used thanks
[color=#4040BF]umm nice mk6.. 85ps swb l/r executive... hybrid turbo.. modded injectors... decat... 225/70/r15 tyres... remap by van tuner... loads of torque... lovely jubley

A garet 2 will do with a homemade man , or buy a transit turbo and man get one for £30-130 :P

i've already got a turbo engine just want a larger turbo cheers mate done the bosch conversion intercooler on way just want bigger turbo for bit more power when i change back axle ratio to 4.11

A garat 3 of a escort turbo + you will need to get more fuel in to your engine + get gas on it to 5th injector 330 FPT AT 2100 RPM 200BHP AT 4200 AND A POPED engine after 2 days :lol: :lol: :lol:

what about a twin turbo :idea: like one of the new bmw's has?? it has one turbo for low rpm then another kicks in at high rpm's 8) 8) :?
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Or the supercharged/turbocharged option,

the supercharger will get you off the line faster than ANY turbo, large or small, and this is complimented by a LARGE turbo that takes over once it has spooled up (because a turbo can generate much higher boost than a supercharger). This is what is happening with a lot of vehicles just now because it gives you the best of both worlds.

Thats the baby - only its an M45 not an M54

i'll give you a clue why i wont sell mines - i paid less than that - in the same condition including postage :D :D

Oh and if you want more control you can use a mercedes s/c they have a clutch on them (12v like air con) so you can switch it on and off at will
