thats what i thought :? i have seen a few with the banana inlet couldnt all be engine swaps?? :? :lol:


I look after local playgroup buses (six of them) and they're all 130's and 190's early new generation (mark fours) and they've all got banana engines

i have the 100ps as 226nm??? thats from a ford technical service training book from 1995 :? :? mis print??? :lol:

oh and 92 -95 70 ps was 146 nm :? :? :lol:
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

yep, banana engines with the bosch pump were in the first new gen 190 chassis cabs as well, and more powerfull than the 76ps

Just a thought GMC....

What diff has yours got in it? if you mainly tow with it it may be an idea to just drop a lower ratio diff in, i'm sure there would be plenty of people on here willing to swap with you :D

More to the point :shock: Should you be towing all that weight with a Transit 80 :?:

Perhaps a Transit 150 SWB should be on the cards :idea: Ideal for towing, that's why people like the RAC used them :wink:

2000kg same as a 100 and a 120 :D
