You sure you haven't got them connected back up the wrong way round?

i have taken the wires of the crack sensor and it still starts and cuts out ,,,put the wires back on no differnt cheers

he means speedo wire and the crank senser wire because they fit the same

i took the wire of the crank sensor and the van stil starts for 5 seconds is that right ,

You need the crank sensor connected. As I said before you've probably got them the wrong way round.

na i swapped them round the same thing happens but the spedo jumps the other way ,,, you think it could be a dogy flywheel starts even with the crank sensor dissconected cheers

If speedo jumped with wires other way round, then you probably had them correct to start with, yes the van will always start without the crank sensor being connected, just wont stay running, As said yesterday, if it was ok til doing the flywheel, and the sensor or wiring wasnt damaged at all, it still sounds like the flywheel isnt giving the sensor a signal, or its an incorrect signal.

As for the speedo wire (speed sensor in the gearbox), It should start without it, just wont drive very well, however, start-idle for a few seconds-stall, still sounds like crank sensor (or flywheel) as thats exactly what would happen if you unplugged it on a running van.

yeah im starting to think its the flywheel now ,,, it used to run sweat as a nut thats why i think sensor is ok do the flywheels play up much can check the crank sensor ,,cheers

i cant work it out it was running before i put this flywheel on do you think its the flywheel ,, how do i no if the flywheel is sending a signal ,,, will it start with no water ,,
