I've had a good ol' look but i cant find the solution to my problem!
I've got a '03 d'cab 120 tipper and this is my problem.
A couple weeks ago i had my DMF changed to a SMF, things seemed to be running ok until it got cold a couple weeks ago.
It took aaaages to get it started in the morning, turning over forever, then cutting out then finally starting. After that ordeal every morning for the rest of the day it started fine. Next morning; same thing. One morning i couldnt get it started, i whipped off an injector, sprayed a little wd40 and it went again. The next morning i ran the battery flat cranking it over.
I've charged the battery (after trying jumpleads) and now all the starter does is go "CLICK". I have no idea where the earth/pos/neg leads are. I also noticed this: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l51/f ... C00565.jpg (sorry about image size) the smaller wire coming out from the positive jump point has burnt out.
I tried replacing this wire but it burnt out as soon as i turned the ignition.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
