help please

Hello everyone my name is Dean and im a new transit owner.

I have a 2002 semi hitop 280 2 litre fwd but it just dont seem to be running right it feels like its struggling to pull as if im in to higher gear then if i drop it down a gear, like down into 3rd from 4th it feels like im reving the nuts of it so I go up a gear back to 4th but then like I said it struggles to pull and rattles is this what they are like?

To be honest I have owned the van 2 days and am thinking about selling it as its not a nice drive atall.

please help??

Hows the air filter? if it's blocked could cause those type of issues. Not really an expert on these more modern vans but filters gotta be worth a look.

yeah I was thinking a general service is the way to go before anything really.
