is a big job to replace a water pump on a 02 fwd 2lt transit,any ideas.cheers

there not too bad to do,done one on mine last week took me about 2 hours without rushing.i found it easier to take bumper+carrier and rad out.

id do that aswell for the time it takes to remove.

do i need to take off the power steering pump,to replace the water pump.

no you dont have to take it off, but check for wear in the splines on pas pump and water pump as they both could need replacing.
