VAN WONT START

Hi, New to this site and would be pleased if anyone could help.
I have a 52 reg Transit 2.0 diesel FWD, Best van i have ever owned its got 170000 miles and never misses a beat ( until today) It started first flick of the key this morning it was well iced up inside and out. I did a 10 mile journey where i parked it up and worked for the day, came out this evening and it would not start. it turns over fine and i have opened one injector and there was fuel coming out when i turned it over. I got a tow home and tried to pull start it but still nothing. It was driving fine when i left this morning. Thanks

Could be the fuel stop solenoid sticking maybe?

Thanks, Will give that a try in the morning. I am going to call the RAC see if they can tell me what it is. I have paid to join them the past 3 years and never used them so may as well get my moneys worth.
