24V Cossy V6 advice needed

Postby trigger » Tue Jan 05, 2010 12:25 pm

I need to know how much of the wiring loom i actually need to make the engine run, i have the bit that goes into the ECU and the bit that feeds the coil pack, there was so much wiring in the car i took as much as i could but i don't think i have all of it, there are so many sensors that i don't think i have the wiring for, the haynes book i was given with the engine only covers 1.8, 2.0 and 2.8 not 2.9 cosworth, i know a few people have fitted these to Transits how much wiring did you use? also do i need the EGR? if not i will remove it, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the cossy and could they post it on here? any help would be most apprieciated :D

Easy put carbs on it and do away with the injection system.

Car didn't have air con (well there is no compressor) i'm using a manual box so don't need the gearbox part, i think i have got most of it, what i haven't got i will have to make up, another question is do i need the EGR, can i blank it off or remove it like on the Transit engines?
