Hi ,
trying to remove the rear hub. Brakes are not holding the hub. normally a few sharp taps will free the brake hub from the centre . Or do i need to remove the bolts that retain the half shaft ?.
Thanks for your help.

hello mate
is it a 135ps with six speed box or 90ps or 125ps if its a 90 or 125 the brake drums are bad for seizing to the hub i have most success by geting a large drift behind the outer ring on the back of the drum & driving the drum off the hub ,if its a 135ps there is a large round plate covering the front face of the drum with 3 grub screws in it remove them slide the plate & half shaft out , there is a 64mm nut behind that wich is staked u need to remove the stake then undo the nut but be warned if the nut has been super locktited it can damage the threads on the axle hope this is some help

To jonb1

cheers mate,is the 90ps model needing the half shaft removed and removal of 'big nut' . Crazy scheme- cost me £22.00 for new nut and gasket. (cold chizel was the closest to 64mm socket)

Nice one KP
