Redex injector cleaner

I was browsing in Halfords & looking at the fuel additives that claim to clean fuel injectors.
Is it worth adding even when the van is running fine or is it best left & used as a possible problem solver?
Could it prolong the life of the injectors?

Hi, dont think redex really works on any vehicle the only 1 I know of which is meant to be the dog's b**locks is FORTE injector cleaner but is only available to the trade, you might find some on ebay, worth dropping some in once a year or so

Just checked on ebay but only have the cleaner for petrol engines in that brand..

hi mate i use redex about once a month , cant say if it really works or not but i have never had a single injector fail in any of my mk6 vans and that has been over about a million miles

yeah like I say its good stuff if you can get it, you could try local garage?
