went to take mine off today to blank it but one of the 8mm bolts woulnt turn, the head of it is all rounded now, cant get vice grips or a grinder near it, any ideas how to get it off? :x

also what is the exact distance between the centres of two holes for the bolts on a blanking plate? :?:

Can you weld an M10 nut onto the head?

Try and get your hands on a set of bolt head extractors. They look like a normal socket, but have a left hand thread on the inside. No drilling or prep needed. When you put it over the bolt head, and try to loosen it, the extractor cuts treads and tightens itself over the bolt head until the bolt loosens. However, you'll enter a new world of pain if you shear the bolt. :?

spring loaded (work it up and down a bit with scrudriver through the vent) you can see it move.
