cheers fellas, i suppose it did seem a bit dodgy but i tried to put a few details on the welcome page and couldn't . might have to bypass the pats if i can't get it to work,no power to the starter,i'm wondering if trying the replacement key has corrupted the original sensor, swapped the key innards but nowt, will try again tomorrow. but logic says that if it costs 200 to repair,100 just spent it needs a complete exhaust and taxing in a couple of months, not much change out of 600 quid plus scrap price i could probably get another for less not that i'd want too or afford to but there was 47 pages of vans on ebay and some were reasonable. and if i can do a deal with that nice african prince i might get myself a sports van or the formula one transit,,,update tomorrow.,,
