Lucas Epic numbers

Hi

I have a 2.5 Turbo transit 1996 (automatic transmission).

The Lucas Epic pump broke down with a damaged axis, so I am looking for another pump,
but I am not sure what numbers to look for on the "new" pump ?

The pump on the car have these numbers : DSA1096 WF8720B010A

Anybody know what the "WF" means, other pumps I have seen are not having any letters in front of the number ?
Can I use other numbers pump as long it is a turbo diesel 2.5 1996 ?


Any help would be good.

You can probably use a pump from another 2.5di Turbo, if its from the same year and engine output

I don't know, Tubo Transits are far more common abroad than they are (or were) in the UK

Have not found a pump yet,
but have found out that I should be able to use any "orange" dot epic pump ( I think).
This should be fine for the 85hk TD
