Hi all, its been a while since ive been on here so here goes.
Being a mechanic my van isnt neglectic but shal i say it doesnt get checked as much as it should do.
Ive been maining to get sevral items done for 6 months now and ive finaly done them.
N/S/R AND O/S/R pipes
N/S AND O/S rear sections of front to rears
N/S AND O/S front sections of front to rears(across the bulk head)
N/S AND O/S rear cylinders
N/S AND O/S front pipes
Handbrake rod adjuster is seized so i ground the lip off the drum and adjusted the shoes up. handbrake is now at 2-3 clicks.
Removing the rear drums is easiest if you remove the bearing. (42mm hub bolt) saves you knocking hell out of drum.
now the van s in tip-top con, all new front and rear brakes. pads, discs, shoes, cylinders and a full house of pipes.
