Hi all. Just bought a new sportvan . Surprised to find it has no spare wheel . :( Any one got any idea where i can get one from .Also does the spare have to have a conti tyre on it.Will this affect the warranty on the van ,if its ever used?

There is no spare wheel in the sportvan you should have a inflation kit instead.

This is a air pump with a bottle of liquid latex. Only a quick fix to get you out of trouble.

But I have been told this will make the tyre unrepairable.

you can buy the wheel directly from MS Design but you would need to get a tyre for it as MS Design no longer supply them with the alloy. But it won't fit under the van so you would have to carry it in the back.

Has anyone come up with an answer yet to allow the standard Ford alloys to fit in the spare wheel carrier under the rear of my mk7 ?
Transit Custom Limited H1 L2 DCIV, now converted to van by removing the seats etc so now twin side loading doors, fully kitted out with Sortimo racking, always loaded to capacity & averages 35mpg :D

Well if someone does find a way then they better find a way to protect it from road spray, I used my standard steel spare only two weeks ago (May 08 van) and there was a rock 2"x1" rolling about inside it, had to repaint it. My spare now lives in the van. P.S. When I say I had to repaint it I ment the wheel not the rock :)
If tradesmen are meant to be experts, why do they get sent back with a snagging list.

There was a single sport van alloy wheel on Ebay a couple of days back. I think I searched for 'st van alloy'
