Hi,

Been a fan of transits since I realised there is no better way of getting my music gear from A to B.

Most jobs I can do, but with this one I am really stumped.

I want to swap out the tach for a set of normal clocks, the odometer is electronic so no drive cable and the one I have taken out has two plugs from the back of the tacho, a black ten way on one side for the fuel sender etc and white 16 way for the temp.

My question is how do I go about doing the mod. I think I could play about with this wiring all day and still not get anywhere. Dos anyone have a wireing diagram or can offer any advice on doing this (what should be a simple) Mod.

The Van is on a W 2000 plate and is the last of the 90's style (not the new shape) I thought you could get a Haynes manual to cover the diagrams but they seem to cover every model but the one I have. Any other info you want let me know and I shall supply it.

Thanks in advance

Al

get a speedo cable, swap it for the tachograph sender unit and wire and put a normal speedo cluster in, you will also need the black plastic surround
