bosch pump ( whats the difference )

hi people
i got 99 2.5 di banana model with bosch pump
got bit of prob with pump.
any 1 knoy the difference

bosch 0460414145 686-2 ( fitted to my van now )

bosch 0460414153 624-7 ( got this to fit )

looks identical and quite certain all will work but what colour injectors suit this pump
also was told its from n reg ??

the earlier transits had different pumps & injectors on them if i remember rightly the later injectors were a two stage injector , so you would idealy need early injectors to suit that pump & your van will have machanical lift pump im not sure what year that came but van probaly would not go as well on early pump injectors hope that makes sense & is some help

Thats an injection pump from a 96-97 70PS, so its from a less powerful engine than you currently have.

You would need green spot injectors from a 95-97 van to suit.

You would do better to find a pump that will work with you injectors, keep the power up etc

If you ask what the numbers on the side are if they have a 686-2 on it (like your current one) it will match your engine

What you have in the van is one of the latest versions of the pump the 686 version 2 (145) fit anything else and you'll be going backwards in terms of power and economy.

i brought a turbo engine now so not going to mess any more. every 1 else seem to think my van flys as it is. it may be me wanting a bit to much from it . but thanx people for all the info. thanx
