So the formula stuff from ford, is that mineral oil? I guessed as it's from ford it would be best for the life of the engine, but it doesn't say it's semi on the cans, it's 5w30

no it should be semi as its what they recommend. i think if you check the specs of it some of them should confirm its semi synthetic.
they do a fully synthetic aswell formula F

Was my response inaccurate? I honestly wasn't trying to be a dick, apologies if it came across that way. :|

I meant that the drain plug is underneath on the under side of the sump.

Tone can't be detected in the written word clearly...
