2001 TRANSIT PUMP CODING HELP!! WHAT SOFTWARE/CABLE???

Please can anyone help.
i have started workin a lot with 2001 onwards transits,
just fitted a pump to one tddi 2.4
is it possible for me to code the pump myself, using the pc with some software, or buying some unit, that can do this, to save me havin it done at another place all the time??
any software/ cable info would be gratefull or any diagnostic machine i can buy, which is not to expensive??
