RADIO DECODED

Postby TRANSBADGER » Sun Apr 18, 2010 4:55 pm

Badger greetings again... :)
My radio code doesn't work...
i turn on the radio it counts down for 30 minutes then asks for code...
when code i have is entered it reverts to 30 minute countdown...
only have 4 more chances according to the manual... :(
any ideas / suggestions / advice to sort this appreciated short of going to the Ford dealer...

many thanks in advance once again...

...where do i find the serial no of the unit??

That's probably a really dumb question as i guess it requires romoval of the unit itself...
which leads to the next question of how to remove it as previous experience of radio removal hasnt been good...
don't want to destroy the thing now do i... :(

You need radio keys which you insert into 4 holes at the side squeeze the 2 keys together and pull.

If you don't have keys you can use a metal coat hanger cut it up so you have 2 lots of 2 prongs then follow instructions above.

The serial code should be on a label on it somewhere post the number beginning with M then we will get you the code :D
