Mk 7 Paint problems, Warranty?

I have a mk7 07 transit van, I have got spots of rust coming out at the rear wheel arch front near the bottom, where it gets all weathers, Will this be covered under waranty?

On the near side? Ford didn't bother painting that bit on the MK7 for a few years. Problem is that unless you've had the paint inspection done at service time you're a bit stuffed.

The corrosion warranty is only valid if it's perforated from inside out

You would preferably have had the annual paint inspection with your service

And if the vehicle has had any paintwork done since it left the factory (other than by Ford) then the warranty no longer applies
