starting problems

I have a W reg Transit which I have owned for just over 12 months. Just recentley it has developed a problem that is driving me mad. The van is parked outside on a nearby carpark overnight, every morning no matter how cold the weather it starts first time. I then drive to the factory 100 yards away, stop the engine and go inside I then load goods on the van. At this point the van will not start, I just get a clicking sound, the central door locking sounds as if its opening and closing the doors.
I then get jump leads and connect to the quick start points. The engine starts, then the van will run all day long with no further problens. During a normal day the van stop/starts over 15 times. Is there any reason for that failure in the moring ?
