Tappet sequence Ford Transit 2.5 1990

Please can anyone help.I am looking for the tappet sequence settings for a Ford Transit 2.5 1990.This info is required by my hubby who is not computer literate and is sure I will not manage to get this info.Please prove him wrong.AAny advise will be appreciated.

Welcome, Michelle! I am not sure of the sequence, but I am sure the engine is the same as in the Mk2, so if you can get a Haynes manual for the Mk2 (1978-1986) it will tell you. I bet you get a reply from somebody here! As you say it's a 2.5L I assume you have a diesel engine.....

this is the info you need:

valves fully open.....valves to adjust
1 & 6..........................4(in) & 7(ex)
2 & 3..........................5(ex) & 8(in)
4 & 7..........................1(ex) & 6(in)
5 & 8..........................2(in) & 3(ex)

valve clearence (warm or cold)
inlet 0.20mm
exhaust 0.38mm
