Di auto conversion info please

Postby Wildbill » Sat Jun 19, 2010 9:53 pm

I am looking for some info on fitting a auto box behind a di engine, ie what box, starter, flywheel/flexplate ect.

I have a cologne auto box will this fit, do i need an adapter plate?, any info would be great.

Thanks Bill

What auto box do you have, the C3 or A4LD, the cologne bellhousing isnt going to fit a Di, Ive not heard of anyone making an adapter plate for one either. Auto boxes turn up often enough for a Di, worth asking in the wanted section :D

It isn't for a transit mate, it is a thought for a yank ford ranger that i have with no engine which did run a cologne with auto box as standard, the thought for a di was down to non injected cologne's getting quite scarce and i don't really fancy the v8 route.

Thanks Bill
