transit mrk7 bluetooth problem.

Postby ideal-plumbing » Sun Jun 20, 2010 12:01 pm

 Hi Every one.
I have a new transit. I had a Nokia mobile which I thought would be fine with the blutooth kit nokia seem to work fine with everything..
So after pairing the phone and radio the phone locked out and froze up. I could not even turn the phone off I had to remove the battery. Of cours now the phone and radio wear paired, every time I turned the van on they atomaticaly loged onto each other and the same thing hapens so pairing had to be deleted.
Thinking it was the phone I bit the bullet and got a new phone,an Alcatel ot-800 kind of like a blackberry, not real my sort of thing but thought this would help as my other was several years old now.
So again I pair the devices and again vertualy the sasme thing, but this time the phone works but about 2 minutes delay on everything, although it is hard to tell how it is behaing because of the delay.
I tried my sons phone and the same sort of thing again.
It seems loke the radio and the phones are seing each other because they are showing in the device manager but then the gremlins start doing there damage with in the reading of each other.
I hope this all makes sense.
PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE can some one help.
Thanks to everyone in advance who takes the time to read this I am so frustrated I have been trying difrentt things for hours.

Make sure that the PSE module and cellular phone are configured to each other , enter the following PIN number on the cellular phone to configure the cellular phone to the PSE module: 0000.

How many phones are paired to the stereo?
The system can take up to 6 anymore listed and you have to delete one to continue to pair.

In some cases once paired you then have to activate the pairing on the stereo as well

Some phones will need you to download a sis file from the ford website

Thanks whats an sis file. I only have one phone paired and also took the fuse out to try and reset the sterio, in case all my messing about changed some settings.

i had some trouble connecting and i tried this with succes ...

leave gsm in the house, get in car, turn key and set radio on, delete all connected phones, get radio out for half an hour, reinstall with unique radio code.
now get phone, delete all bluetooth devices, search with phone for ford (not the other way around!!!), dial in the pin "0000", they should connect, then ... get into the phone bluetooth menu on the phone and select ford, choose options ... AUTHORIZE DEVICE ...

hope this works as well for you as it did for me!

greetings, Jeroen
