fuel problem

I have a 2000 wreg transit 350/lwb
previous to my last posting about the van not starting the mechanic has looked at the van last night changes the fuel filter as well the filter head after this was done the engine started first turn of the key.This morning his father started it left it running for awhile then took it for a run got about half a mile it stopped & would start ,he say that the fuel is losing pressure & going back to the fuel tank . has anyone ever come across this problem

Best off replying to original thread and give as much info as you can, especially things like which engine you have as you don't even mention it's diesel.
