i have an 05 transit minibus i have lost my dipped headlights still got side and main beam have checked all fuses and tried another main switch and dip and main beam on indicator to no avail and changed bulbs sorry did look at relays they looked ok but do not know which one serves the dipped headlighs

Not sure you can tell from just looking at a relay if it's duff.

There's a post in the FAQ section that lists all the Fuse and Relay locations for the Mk6.
