1996 transit wont start

hi everybody im new ive got a 1996 smiley face camper 2.5 turbo fly by wire with the epic pump
it wont turn over if you cross starter it wont run led in the roof flashes 3 2 wich acording to auto data is the pats box so bought new one ouch! pluged in and still the same any ideas

Have you had the new pats module programmed in

no how do you do it is it fords or can you doit youself

It would have to go to Ford unless you can find someone with the correct kit to read an Epic Transit, which wont be easy, I would imagine Ford would only charge you 1 or 2 hours labour to do it

Also check the ECU fuse if the red engine lamp isn't coming on with the ign

orig pats shows no corrosion and all dash lights r on looks like one for mr ford better get some overtime in

This seems a bit suspicious, as EPICs normally turn over, even if PATS is not recognised


Have you checked the fuses for the PATS (no.32 & 33 @5amps)

hi boys just got it back from mr ford no joy they say no communication with anything so bought a x plate going to swop it allover and might aswell convert from a lefty while at it happy days
