secondary air system error?

secondary air system error?

mk7 with no codes logged is showing a 'secondary air system monitor' error on the live data of an obd reader, any ideas or do I wait for a light or code?

is it petrol 
, as i thought only petrol used secondary air injection to improve emissions, and thats only operational at idle and very very low revs.

No its a 2.2 tdci, maybe that is why it is showing error on the live data and no codes as its not used?
