WIRiNG a SUB

Postby joycerdublin » Tue Aug 03, 2010 10:38 pm

Hey wats up. I got an 01 transit. Im trying to do a few mods on my van.
Got a flip out dvd player for it the other day. I am just waiting for my fascia kit off ebay so i can fit it.
Hopefully all goes well. :!:

I havent got much money but i have sub at home. It is a gud 1. It has a plug on the end.
I was just wondering would i be able to wire this up or is it got to do with the ac/dc sh*t.
Please let me know how to wire it up, and if and what amp i need.

CHEERS

Is it a sub and amp?
Does it have an RCA / Phono Input or does it take high level speaker inputs?
On the amp
The power will usually be red for Positive, Black for negative and Blue is the remote switch which you connect to the remote aerial wire on the head unit which turns the amp on and off with the head unit.

It has audio input.
I dont really understand wat your saying about the colours. If ur talking bout the colours in the plug lead there is only a brown and blue 1.
It is 230v-50hz if thats any help.
