Hi there,

Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place.

A friend of mine has a Ford Luton 90 T350 Y Reg Van and i have the unlucky pleasure of driving it. When im going flat out down the motorway i get on a straight and it sticks at 59MPH literately just under the 60 and cant get nothing else out of it unless i take my foot off the accelerator switch they key back one position then back to where it was and accelerate and all of a sudden i can get up to 75MPH.

My friend bought this from someone so is not sure if it has a limiter on it and im not either hence the post for answers. Not sure if you guys need any more info but would be great full for some ideas.

Cheers
Gus

Gus,

Having driven the same transit T350 before it had restricted speed (what a lovely vehicle to drive) then having to drive it with it restricted, It's taken all the acceleration out of it, not as good a drive. I would think your mates van has been restricted! I understand it is done to the on board computer, you'll need to get it reprogrammed.

Good luck
