steering rack

hi all. chasing a steering rack (non ps) for my 1990 4cyl petrol auto transit. would I be correct in thinking that models from 87 to 94 use the same rack. regards rob.

where abouts are you - non pas racks are cheep if not free as everyone upgrades to pas

thanks Luke for the quick reply, Im downunder in Oz. steering racks not easy to get here, hens teeth are easier to find. I thought ps may be to hard to fit my mechanic didnt seem that keen to fit ps. regards Rob

pas is easy to fit if you have all the bits - if he's gonna have a problem he isnt a mechanic

have a search on here theres a few threads with instructions on how to fit it

yeah thanks Luke, cant exactly put a postage stamp on one for me eh. I can get a second hand rack and pas for AU$550.00. That seems to be the going rate here and Im sort of leaning that way now. thanks again Luke. this is a great forum, very informative and I am glad to be a member.

over here a 2nd hand pas set up (pump rack reservoir and pipes) is about £50-£100
