No, Sierra engines are different...

You need one from a "Bug-Eye" Scorpio or Galaxy..

Is it possible that he was thinking the Sierra = Pinto :?: (and possibly forgot about it being available with this DOHC in it's late life :?: (as we all sometimes forget certain things)

He put the DOHC in the Sierra 8)

So I'm sure he knows what he's on about!

Maybe someone can prove him wrong!

Ahh.....Try looking for gasket sets to see if they fit both   8)

which bit is different :? head :?: block :?:

do you mean a scorpio inlet manifold and exhaust manifold wont fit to a bare sierra head :?:

i know the plenum is different and wont fit in the transit without mods to the location, it fouls the servo :!: but i have seen one fitted in on ebay (blue swb van) he must have moved the engine over to the n/s - but at the time i didnt realise they wouldnt fit :)

pritty sure the sierra block mounts fit the transit 2.3 block i seem to rememebr trying them when i took the 2.3 out of the cossy mk6 :D
