Radio question

Well actually two questions.
My works Transit (08 plate) has a Ford 6000 CD radio in it. It's just got the standard speakers. I would like to fit more speakers but as I haven't pulled the radio out yet I don't know if the radio has outputs for rear speakers. It hasn't got a front/rear fader so I doubt it. Anyone throw any light on it? I can't change the radio as it's not my van and I don't want to loose the bluetooth hands free.

Second question, MP3s! Reading the radio handbook it says that mp3s can be played if the files are stored in 8.3 format. I've tried writing CDs but just get a disk error message. I assume the handbook is telling porkies and the cd6000 can't play mp3 files?
