Clutch Problem

I have a 05 plate transit tipper and i was driving along the road tonight and heard a rattling noise and rumbling through the cutch pedal and gearstick . Do you think this is a fault in the clutch. I also found after the clutch pedal only had half the travel than normal . Do you have to change the flywheel aswell as the clutch and how long to do this .
