I have fitted a ford type cd multistack radio but now the cd part works but the the radio part when sellected the display comes up with AST can anybody tell me what the problem cheers one and all

not sure on a ford unit, but on most that usually indicates its auto tuning, if you have an "AS" or "AST" button, press that, or try pushing the "AM/FM" button to go to manual tuning. If it still won't do anything, i'd suspect a faulty head unit
