noisey tappets mk 6 2.4 tdci 125 ps ???or something else

ive noticed a noise coming from my engine sounds like tappets are getting noisey ,are they hard to replace and do they cost much anything else to look out for ??

It's not a TDCi if it's a 125 2.4

the sound is there all the time but as you rev the engine the faster the tapping gets its not over noisey but noisier than my other transits. I was under the impresion it was a tdci.maybe nt then but yea 2.4 .125

timing chain jumped, and or tensioner nakerd. is it high miles..???

the van runs nice so i dont think the timing chain has jumped or the timing would be out and the van would run lumpy ,as for the tensioner ,is it possible to tighten it up or is it a new one jobby ??does really sound like tappets though

look at cam carryer for cracks/damage

anybody know cheapest place just been quoted £27 per tappet x8 + all the seals etc
