Mk4/5 single to twin fitment. Anchor point and bolts

2000 mk4 single to twin.

I'm in the middle of swapping the seats. The single had 4 x bolts into the runners. And the runners had 7 x bolts for the runners. 6 x being rhe runners and a 7th for the seatbelt.

The twin has a anchor catch but what does it catch too?

Also the bolts are 4 x at the front which appear that 1x each side has no hole drilled for it

Have a look underneath you may find some captive nuts welded to the bottom of the floor on my mk3 they had no threads in them and no hole in the floor what I did was drill up from underneath with a drill that didn’t take any metal out of the nut and drill though the floor I then got a tapered tap and tapped it out from the top for the bolts I was using.
Not sure but I think when Ford fitted the seat they used a self tapping bolt looking at the flutes in the bolts I removed that’s possible why the nuts are not threaded.

It looks like a latch plate/striker is missing?

Thats because the latch is missing...

Transit seats tipped up to 1997, and after that didn't. There is a "loop" plate that bolts to the floor which you are missing.

Ford used self tapping bolts in all of the holes - so any which have not previously been used will not be threaded, either use tapping bolts and an impact gun, or run a tap down the the threads

I hope your going to save my bacon Matt because I'm struggling to get one of these loop catchs. I've managed to get the part number but I've tried multiple sites and breakers with no result

I will have my wife and 1year old in the front so I really don't want to get into fabricating if I can help kt

If your van is a 2000 like you say in your first post then it's a Mk5 so why don't you just buy a Mk5 non tilting seat and bolt it in?
You can then sell the Mk4 seat.

Mk6 started at the beginning of 2000. Mk5 was produced up until the end of August 2000....So a 2000 model can be either Mk5 or Mk6.

Mk4 ceased production in August of 1994.

If I can find a set that's a straight fit I'd prefer that. I'm looking online and again I can't see exactly if the bottom centre rear part will bolt straight in. I don't want 2 x seats I'm struggling to fit haha
