Disconnected Wire (help)

Postby Aztran » Wed Jan 18, 2006 12:55 pm

Hellooooo

ive recently had a little job on engine and have noticed a wire, just hangin!

I cant work out where it connects to :? And its hard to explain where it is...........

ive got a 95' 2.5 190 transit....it runs just infront of the deisel filter, below another wire and from the filter its about 8 inches long.

A close up pic might help

The electronic device was the water sensor! But as Aztran says he still has the wire connected to the filter!

The wire is connected to nout.............just comes out of the wiring loom, and hangs.

The best way to tell a conversion is to look at the heater controls. Doe it have two or three? Two sliders for petrol, three for diesel.
