Not particularly if the rocker cover bolts arnt rusted out 
One tip I was given is to use a genuine H/G unless you want to be doing the job again in a few weeks

no inlet mani can stay on...
easier if you remove the exhaust manifold...

stage 1 - 52lbf or 70nm
stage 2 - 52lbf or 70nm
stage 3 - angle tighten 90degrees

re do the valve clearance's and lightly oil the threds and tops. o and tight um a bit more. (with a scaff pole)

DO NOT drag the head (lift) as it will damage the injector nozzle's.
