I see you seemed to have fixed your issues but I didn't see a result given for the hose pressure build up.
Although this is a later Transit, the header tanks are terrible for getting blocked on the attached picture I have indicated where you should look, running with the cap off and at basic temp there should be a steady stream of water coming through that pipe, if not then the thermostat is gunked up and more likely that pipe is blocked run a drill through it, not a screwdriver but a drill as the hole is too damned small and blocks if you look at it wrong.

I have tried all the ways I know of linking a picture on a forum and also doing it as a link but none want to work, are the image tags switched off somewhere?

cheers mate i had it running for a short while yesterday and got it up to temp the thermstat let go and water was coming thru the pipe you highlighted also before i redone the head it was pressurizing in seconds but now its hardly building up any pressure which i think is normal its seems to be the same amount of pressure of our other hi cube so it seems ok at the mo i think looking at the gasket that came of it was well knackered so that could of have been the cause :)

Thats what I did except for the % sign....BB forums add silly bits like that, I am a Mod on a BB based forum and an Admin on another so I know my way around the codes maybe my browser was reading it funny
I just cut and pasted your version into my original post and still it doesn't show.....GRRR! Oh well next time.

% is just a space, but if you put spaces in coding they wont work!

Ah then this is a very old version of BB then as the later versions allow you to put spaces and then it codes them to suit the forum.

Quick test then using%20 in place of the space and it looks like it works

My other interests are far from Transits and I use my webspace a lot for images for one thing or another.
Things like this...

Sorry my mistake I am used to VBullitin not BB which takes care of the code irregularitys, plus the navigation is a lot simpler, like for example you can go to the last page, rather than the NEXT link you have with this....I found this when I was looking at the picture I copied and then trying to get back to my post to edit it. Never mind now I know I will just have to adjust my speed when editting pics...asumming I have to add anymore.

Oh btw threadjack over, thanks for tuning in
